Praying our faith
Here you will find various ideas and resources to support you in your prayer life. You might be looking for access to the Readings for Daily Mass or for the Morning Prayer of the Church. You might want to take some time at your desk to pray by reading some words, listening to some words or viewing some images and using them to stimulate your thoughts and reflections. This section provides all of that . . . and more.
3 Minute Retreat
3-Minute Retreats invite you to take a short online prayer break right at your computer and to spend some quiet time reflecting on a Scripture passage. As everyone does not pray at the same pace, you have control over the pace of the retreat. After each screen, a Continue button will appear. Click it when you are ready to move on. If you are new to online prayer, the basic timing of the screens will guide you through the experience.
Daily Mass Readings

For many years Cardinal Martini taught young people in Milan to read the Scriptures for themselves and to meditate and pray with them. Here is an example. He read with them the story of the raising to life of the son of the widow of Nain. Then he asked them to reflect on the story. He drew their attention to one sentence: ‘Young man, I tell you: get up.’ He pointed out that Jesus says three things in that one sentence, and that each one deserves our full attention.
Pray as you go
Pray-as-you-go is a daily prayer session, designed for use on portable MP3 players, to help you pray whilst travelling to and from work, study, etc.
A new prayer session is produced every day. It is not a 'Thought for the Day', a sermon or a bible-study, but rather a framework for your own prayer.
Sacred Space is a website offered by the Irish Jesuits and is inspired by the spirituality of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. If aims to provide opportunities and stimuli for prayer in everyday life. It normally follows the scripture sequence of the Revised Common Lectionary. In acknowledgement of the international readership of the site, adaptations are made to the Irish liturgical calendar.
