Lanarkshire Global Education Centre seeks to provides facilities for schools, Church and community groups to meet and participate in retreats and courses.  The Centre is available to residential and non-residential groups alike.  The Centre can also be hired to business groups for conferences and meetings.

The Centre, which was completed in 2009, is built on the site of the former Xaverian College in Calder Avenue in Coatbridge.

The Centre provides extensive full facilities for conferences, meetings and training.

Situated around an informal break-out area, there is

• a conference room which can accommodate up to 100 people;

• an IT training suite for 15 people;

• two seminar rooms which can be utilised for meetings or training sessions. 
  
  
• an oratory

The seminar rooms are suitable for up to 24 people.  All of the meeting rooms are provided with modern IT equipment, such as whiteboards, projection facilities and internet access.

The Centre has 30 quality twin-bedded ensuite bedrooms for overnight stays.  This enables the Centre to accommodate up to 60 people for bed and breakfast.  Each of the rooms is provided with tea/coffee making facilities and with an internet access point provided. 

Lunch can be provided in the Centre’s dining room, either on a buffet or a served basis.  Tea and coffee can also be made available during the day.  For overnight guests, an evening meal can also be provided.
