LentFest 2015

lent-fest-2015.jpgLentfest is a community festival run by AGAP (the Archdiocese of Glasgow Arts Project) since 2007, to encourage reflection on faith ideas through the creative and performing arts during a season of renewal and reparation. It has attracted the support and participation of people from a variety of faith backgrounds, including those of no particular denomination…so wherever you are in your faith journey, you are welcome here!

About Lentfest 2015… On the 10th March 2015, Scotland will celebrate the 400th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of one of her national saints. Saint John Ogilvie was hanged at Glasgow Cross for celebrating the Mass during a time when Catholicism was outlawed by the state. We are celebrating his BRAVE FAITH with a number of events that reflect on this theme.

A PROGRAMME for CATECHISTS, TEACHERS, LAY LEADERS 2014 - 2015

This new course for catechists, teachers and lay leaders of parish groups ‘Evangelisation in the Mission of the Church’ has been inspired by Pope Francis who calls us to be a Missionary People. He wants us all to have enthusiasm for spreading the Good News about our Lord Jesus Christ, but he is also calling us to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to do this well.
